They Will Come (Astra’s 2nd Reading)

To begin this blog entry, I must give the uninitiated a primer.

I need you to go back and read my entries regarding Astra, this psychic that I went to see back in May of 2001.

I had, and always am slightly sceptical when it comes to the metaphysical. So many people claim to understand it’s energies and how those energies work in concert with the will of the Divine, and yet are largely clueless and confused, and mostly motivated by profit.

When going to see a psychic, I have always been very careful not to have too many tells, not to give away too much personal information and not lead her in any way.

My mother and I have talked about these things before. I believe most psychics read body language, and are exceptionally good at it. What’s more many of them are so general in their declarations that they could mean anything, mean anyone. ohans and I have been talking about this a bit, and he’s quite right to be sceptical, I mostly am.

However, experience and intuition is enough to discern the truth from the lies and Astra is the real deal, the real article. She is different. Certainly, she performs a service, and is paid for that service, but she lives a simple life in a simple house, and has an honest and open face and has an earthy sense of the world and a downright bawdy humour.

I think it’s fine to tell people you live a spiritual life. Fine if you mean it. To be spiritual, is to recognise the Divine Spirit in all, and remain receptive to the workings of the Great Spirit that lives in all of us.

Sometimes messages can come unexpectedly, sometimes you must channel and seek them out.

What follows is a transcription of the reading Astra gave me two weeks ago in Barbados. It’s been a mind bending experience, transcribing the tape I made of this session, and I have not really begun to process it emotionally, and in some ways mentally. This has been a trip made on faith, and steeped in faith. I have had my faith in the Universe tested and tested, but always there are guides and messages, signs and validation along the way.

I have needed to do this. This journal, a recording of the events and happenings in my life, deserves to be a repository of this experience. I am moved. Moved to action, to renewed faith and to fly like I was meant to fly.

I was amazed, this reading was over four thousand words in length and went on for almost two hours, but she addressed all the things that needed to be addressed.

Let me also point out, that she has had no connection to my life. The last time I saw her, was three years ago at my last reading, and have had no contact with her since before the morning of this reading.

That she could be so clear, and touch on all of my issues and challenges facing me, and give clear information on what, and who I was fighting against. Information on who and what I was meant to become.

You’ve been going through a lot of stress. It seems as though someone is throwing some negative energy on your side too. You have to try and pick back up, this is the month to start doing that.

Things are not really coming out the way… things are going right down on the slop, they aren’t looking good to me. Because of the spell, the voodoo, someone you know or knows of you is trying to hamper you this way.

You have a lot of money problems. It seems like you’re running out of money, and you can’t keep it very long in your hand, or it goes in the wrong direction. In other words, when you are looking forward, to spend money in something you really want, you never get there.

There are people turning you around; there have been delays, there have been problems in relationships. Nothing really lasts with you, nothing really stays with you. You are being hurt very bad.

Every time you going into a relationship, the man is like, “I will take you out tonight! I will do this, I will give you this, I will make time for you.” But that time, when it comes, it’s a different story all together.

So this is all the problems coming with negative energies. You need bush baths, you need guards, you need to get yourself worked on in the future or you’re not going to get out of it.

The person has you in a stinking role. And it seems that they have been dealing with the dead with you. The dead or the spirits. This is graveyard work. Why they are doing it, is because they want to make it permanent, you understand. That things will get worse and worse as days go on. Next minute you will find yourself in prison. You would be surprised to know how you got there.

You will find yourself involved with the police and getting arrested all the time and don’t know how you are getting arrested. You would say, I am a very honest person yet I always find myself in trouble all the time with the law. Always somebody would come before me, to get me angry, to get me frustrated do things I don’t like.

Next minute you would go under a lot of stress, and need psychiatric help. You would be seeking and getting treatment with psychiatrists. It would send you completely out of your mind. And you would get worse and worse, because these things aren’t good to keep around you. It is not just a very good energy, it is that the enemy has wished you the worst and wish you bad, even wished you death. But they know they can’t kill you that easily.

They wished you would run under a car, wish you in a car accident. They wish you everything that is bad. They wish so much problems in your relationship, that you always got to be under stress because of a boyfriend. Or because of a man who would promise you this, and promise you all type of nice things, but then he really can’t stick up to his commitments or whatsoever that he say.

What you need in your life is commitment! What you need in your life is truth! What you need in your life is honesty! These are the things you really need in your life.

You’re putting too much blind faith in the wrong people as well. Too much blind faith. And too much confidence and they don’t deserve your confidence.

You really need a relationship, and you really need to settle down. But it takes time.

You need to stay very close to the Sea. Whosoever took you from the sea, is bad. Whoever changed your spirit from living by the sea…. you should go to the sea every single day if you could. As regular as possible, at least three times a week.

You’re going to have some problems with your feet, some very bad pain in your feet (pats my knees) in the bone. It will feel like arthritis, but it’s not arthritis, this is what they are doing. Because they’re still working at you, and they still working on you.

You will not be able to keep jobs. Not at this particular time. Not while this spell is around you.

Even if you have a job, you will have problems with the authorities, the boss or the supervisor. You will have trouble with the top people. People inside the job will try to make trouble for you too. So you will have it all ’round. Most of the top people who make the decisions to fire or to hire.

I ask: If I do the spiritual baths, and the guard work, and cleansing will it reverse it.

It will reverse it right back to the person, whosoever do it. It would send it back to them. Because it it’s coming off of you: when I say what I have to say, and I do what I have to do, then it will reverse.

Well girl, you looking to spend some deep money on yourself. Some deep money girl.

I ask: what do you mean?

On yourself, to get yourself back together.

Money is not going to be anything now, there’s going to be a great deal in existence.

I ask: say that again.

Money is not going to be anything now. You’re going to come out of it if you get some spiritual help. If you get some spiritual help, you’re going to come out of it very well.

To face a thing is to name it, you going to reverse it right back to the idiot, that send it to you.

It was someone who had the same man as you? Was dealing with the same man secretly, that know you, that was pretending….. This is the woman that help mash you up. She mess you up, she had the same man as you. She know you and you know her. You understand me? This is what come to my mind.

You need protection. Because you were not protected, she could go and pay money on you. She spend a lot of money on you to frig you up. She is who really have you in the state that you are really in. You understand.

And the man was deceitful too. A part of it, he should have said no. And he was having sex with her.

I tell her: This happened to me years ago. What you are describing happened years ago…

Yes…. Umm Hmmm….

I continue: Now I find myself back in the same place where it all happened.

Yes, she is the one who is throwing negative energy at you.

You got to get yourself work on girl.

When are you going back now?

I say: Tomorrow. On Tuesday I am supposed to go and see a woman. I am going to see her about getting protection, and the baths and the guard.

She is going to tell you the same thing as I tell you. She is going to give you baths and guards. That’s the only way you going to get away from it. Guards and baths…. this is picture work; spiritual work. You going to need those things.

And Marsha?

You going to be going to England in the future as well too. England is the place where you going to end up. You going to get married and everything, but you got to leave the country, leave the Caribbean and go either America or Europe. Europe would be more successful for you.

You would get into music as well too, in a band. You going to join a band in the future.

Many people see a brilliant future ahead of you. You’re a true traveller, you’re a musician. You’re an adventurer. You’re a model, you’re everything. You’re even a role model for young people. You going to be doing some work with youth, young people as well too.

And you’re a teacher as well too. You are a teacher. Through your teaching, you will be able to set up workshops and seminars, and things like that, especially dealing with women. Dealing with AIDS and dealing with cancer. Dealing with many women, and female problems. You will have even gynaecologists working with you as well too, they’re real specialists in these areas. And you’re even born to write a book too. You understand, but somebody is keeping you down. You have a brilliant future, this shows you directly how your future should be. You suppose to have three or four children and living happy with your husband. This is the way your life is supposed to be.

If it’s not like that, you know something is definitely wrong. You’re too much of a strong person naturally. But because the spell is on you, it have you nervous, it have you weak, it have you shy. It have you like somebody else, they put a different spirit in you. When you are shy, nervous, when you lack in confidence, you don’t get no where in life; because you don’t believe in yourself. Thing about it, is to believe in yourself, have that amount of confidence.

You going to leave Trinidad too. You got to go out to Europe. Europe is just your luck. You got to leave the Caribbean.

You got to stop sleeping. When you travel a lot, head out to different countries, you will look a lot different. Your face is not going to look as stressed out as it is now. You’ll look more balanced, more relaxed, happier, more confident, and you’re going to be around the right people, who are going to be able to help you as well too.

There is some guy you’re not noticing right now, but he is your deep admirer, what you would call your secret admirer, but you don’t pay him no mind. But he really loves you. He’s right after you.

You have an appointment you will have to cancel. I’m seeing a cancellation. You’re going to be sick, something is going to happen to you. You will be sick, real bad and this is also a part of the spell, it’s wearing down your body a lot. real bad.

And you’ll be going to a French speaking country, maybe Martinique, maybe France?

You have a family member in Florida? You’ll be going to them. They really care about you darling, and very worried about you; and they really want the best for you darling.

You’re a true dreamer. You know that? You dream true dreams. Follow your dreams. By the end of March you will have a particular dream. Follow it. By the end of March. Just do as that dream asks you to do.

And you’re going on a ship as well, too.

You still have good friends that care a lot about you. There are people who are concerned about you.

You will have something at a bargain. 50% off. You will go to buy something and get it very, very cheap. A really cheap bargain.

You will need a talisman or an amulet. Talismans are very powerful you know!

You need some oils to put on your money as well. Certain oils to bring back your prosperity and build you up. Even when you get your bush baths, you will still need oils and things of that sort. Powders and oils.

Someone is trying to put you in a car accident. You know that? They don’t want you to live. They trying to hamper you really bad. Especially in places in the outside world, where you are. Trinidad, know it right off. Barbados is now a part of it too.

Don’t really worry yourself and stress yourself out.

June should be a good month for you getting married. It was supposed to be June this year., but somebody trying to stop you. You would be a happy woman if you were married.

You’re family oriented. Whatsoever you go through, you should be able to come out of it.

Sometimes I can hear a duck quacking, just like quack, quack, quack… I am hearing some gossip about you.

I can also hear the music of steel bands, in the backyard of someone’s home.

You will also hear about three funerals of people who have died the same year.

I am seeing you by a river, it’s very quiet and you are meditating by this river. It’s very, very quiet and you can smell the breeze; a sweet perfume, or something sweet like soap? You can smell it over that river. The wind is blowing, but it’s very, very quiet, you can hear a pin drop. There, I am seeing some Indians. Is this Hindu? There are some Indians there. You should go there.

I am seeing a clock going by the hours, darling. The clock is going by the hours; the clock is spinning by the hours. I am seeing the colour blue.

It may mean a healing process, because the colour blue pertains to healing and psychic abilities. Which mean you’re going to bring back your health; you bring back your psychic abilities. Because a lot of your psychic ability has been cut from you. You not seeing things like you did before, you’re not as accurate as before. You’re not as quick to analyse things as you were before.

They still have you sleeping.

I am also seeing sand. Someone was working on you to stop your relationship. To stick you up. So they’re using sand, they’re using parchment paper to stop the relationship, certain oils.

I am seeing sea; a highway by the beach. It’s a very beautiful beach. It’s like a port, but it goes over a bridge. It’s overseas, it’s not here in Barbados, it’s overseas. It’s a very beautiful beach. And there are streets, the streets are very busy.

I am also seeing someone interfering with your hair as well. You are being hampered by a piece of your hair. Someone is working on you with your hair. This is why you are so unstable sometimes, headaches and giddy spells. When somebody mess with your hair, you can’t be stable as you were at one time, you know?

I am seeing this old house with this old man. He is an obeah man, right. And you go through the side door to see this man. He’s a man in his eighties or nineties or seventies; he’s an old man. He has a crystal ball in his house. This is who the person is going to to read up on you, and he does a lot of work. He is in Trinidad, on a street, at a four cross roads, He is living in a wooden house. In a brown or grey houses.

I ask: This person sending me this negative energy, this person is in Barbados or in Trinidad.

I’m seeing this person in Trinidad, but there is someone in Barbados who is messing you up too. But this house is in Trinidad, this person is in Trinidad. An old man, he has a crystal ball.

I am seeing you growing into your Africa roots, the Seven African powers, Orisa, Santeria. I am hearing drums beating. I am seeing a lot of dark skinned people, they’re dressed all white. I am hearing music too, and candles burning, different kinds of candles.

I am also seeing Kwanzaa as well. You’ll be opening a Kwanzaa celebration sometime next year. As early as next year, you’ll be going to Kwanzaa.

I am seeing these candles burning and a fruit offerings, and incense too being offered to the god or goddess. I am seeing a big celebration, a very, very big celebration.

I am also seeing you work very hard on your job, and your job is going to pick back up.

As soon as you go and see this lady, things are going to pick back up in your life.

You need to do some exercises, so please join a gym; or do it at home in your spare time.

Who drinks around you?

I answer: My father.

Tell them got to stop drinking, a lot of beers and nonsense. A lot of booze.

Someone is trying to put you in trouble with the law. They trying at you and trying at you, but they not succeeding. Not the way they want to succeed.

Who is Sharon? She’s not a very a short person. 5ft 3 or 5 5, person walks very tall.

You have a brother? Your brother is going to prison. The youngest one. But you can stop it. If you work on him on the early , you can stop it.

Life is going to pick back up with you girl. Girlfriend, it’s going to pick back up.

You’re going to have some problems with your eyes as well too. You have to watch it very carefully. You eyes are going to give you trouble.

I am also seeing some medicine on top of some cupboards, and you have to very careful going to doctors, because they may give you the wrong medication. They may not understand your symptoms. It’s better for you to go to a herbalist doctor at all times. A naturpathic doctor, who deals with natural medicine. If you go to another doctor, you will have problems.

Any dental problems you are having, see the dentist right away too.

You are going to lose a little bit of weight as well too. That’s what you want, so you will get that.

You really have to really keep out of debt. This person is trying to put you in a lot of debt, which you can’t pay, and you end up in the bailiff’s hands and that’s what they hand. To put you in court, and run up bad credit. You can’t get the money to pay on time, and then people rushing at you, for their money, whosoever that you owe. So in other words, they want you to continue to be in debt all the time.

You must use pomegranates at all times. You must eat it.

Instead of sugar, use honey.

You must get into to aerobics. You must get into yoga. Practising yoga is very much important.

You will also be going through massages as well. You understand. Massages are very important. Healing. You know you do have healing hands, and you are born to be a healer. If you don’t use it, you are going to suffer, because you are there to help people, and to help them to balance themselves as well.

I say: This is probably why I am going through all of these things now.

How to do it for yourself.

I say: to do it for myself.

All this is to teach you a lesson in life.

I ask: so I must learn to do massages.

Yes you must get into massages. And the people will come, don’t worry the people will come. Just don’t worry about it.

I say: They are already coming. Not for massages, but for ‘help’.

You are a counsellor, you are massagist (sic: masseuse) everything like that there.

And don’t let nobody at all keep you down.

There will be some people, who will be leaving the island who will be wishing you farewell, they’ll be going away. So look out for that anytime.

You must get into vegetables. Doing a vegetarian dinner, is very much important. You should have your own restaurant selling vegetarian dinners. In the future, try to work on that, you know. Because I can smell these vegetarian dinners, you can actually see it: Maybe you should stick to things like lentil soup, and different things of that sort. Pumpkin soup, French onion soup, you are strictly vegetarian.

You must go through a physical cleansing as well as a spiritual cleansing, Take certain things that cleanse the body from inside; clean out the toxins in your body. Because you have a lot of toxins in your body. Because of the amount of stress, actually builds it up and makes it worse. Take a lot of Vitamin C and antioxidants.

You need to take some Jacuzzi’s in between too, to calm you down. Some hot salt baths as well too, very important use some Epsom salts, some dead sea salt, some pot salt, some sea salt in your water when you are bathing. Just lay down inside of it, and relax. Add some aromatherapy oils, and herbs, things like lavender herbs; that will help to cut some of the blights and cut some of the curses.

Lavender and rosemary that will help it especially.

Chinese medicine is what you should get into, learn about Chinese herbs. You will treating clients with Chinese herbs, and also treating yourself with Chinese herbs too.

And Egyptian methodology is what you should get into to study. Egyptian and African, and Chinese.

Remember to go to that river I told you about.

Stay away from sugar. Use honey or some other sweetener.

People are very curious about your life; your enemies, and want to know what’s up with you.

And here is one of your spirit guides, she is a female and she really loves you a lot. She’s trying to pat you on your back, and around your face to let you know that you are okay; that she is looking over you.

I can actually hear the waves of the sea. This is showing a transformation of your life altogether.

You must go to Bathsheba, today or tomorrow before you go.

You must burn candles; burn twenty one candles in yellow. Keep the lights burning. Keep the lights burning and welcome in the Spirit of light into your life.

You just need some time to relax all by yourself.

Pamala is no good. She’s a traitor, she’s a back biter and she is a gossiper. That is what the ass she is. She’s no good, pulls you down; talk your name very bad behind your back. She’s a deceitful wretch. That’s what the hell Pamala is. When the head state tells me anything about her, I would tell you straightaway, just like that there so. I see her as who she is. She is no good. She always prey bad on your emotions and fuck you up too.

And there was plenty money that was supposed to come to you; plenty money, but the enemy tried to block it. You know that? That you wouldn’t get it. The enemy block that money from coming in to you.
