I love the behind the scenes shot of the filming of last week’s episode posted at the L.A. Times. I love the sense of community you get from the photos, and in particular this one of Katee Sackhoff greeting and meeting a gaggle of school children.
Sackhoff has been listed elsewhere as being the person on the cast most unlike her character. In interviews, she very often comes off as sweet and bubbly, and you can see how diametrically different that is to the character she plays.
In this photo, not to sound corny, but I can pick up on the energy of the moment. You know she was there cracking jokes and fielding questions.
The episode was directed by Michael Nankin who earlier sent us a nice gallery of behind-the-scenes photos from Season 2 of “BSG” and now he has given us some more set photos, these all from the Vancouver shoot of Friday night’s “Sometimes a Great Notion” episode. The captions are from Nankin and all of the shots were from the camera of Paul Sanchez Yates.
