African American Women Writers: An A-to-Z Guide

Contributors are sought to write unassigned entries for African American Women Writers:  An A-to-Z Guide, a reference work that will be published by Greenwood Press in 2006.

African American Women Writers:  An A to Z Guide, will consist of 173
entries.  Each entry consists of four parts and varies in length from
750-6000 words.  Each entry includes the following components:

*           Biographical narrative

*           Analysis

*           Critical Reception

*           Bibliography

Interested contributors should send an email conveying their interest to [email protected].  In the email indicate 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice of preferred entries and a mailing address.  Confirmation of assigned entries, a sample entry, guidelines and a description of the work will be mailed to contributors.

Contributors will receive a copy of the reference work as honorarium.

Entries are due February 1, 2006.
