I find this quote resonant because on a daily basis I deal with people who close their eyes and pretend they don’t see the injustices of the world, or stand by and allow others to bully, mistreat and take advantage of the vulnerable. I see people afraid to own themselves, and who hand their power over to men who care nothing for the poor and suffering.
I agree with Assata. Ya’ll are all fucking punks.
